| This knotty alder kitchen was designed around two large island cabinets which
allow more than one person to work without interference during food
preparation. One island has two
refrigerator drawers, a dishwasher drawer and a bar sink allowing snacks and
drinks to be served to guests without getting into the main food-preparation
and cooking area. |

The IS-123
Kobe island range hood had all the right specifications except the modern
brushed stainless exterior.
Here, a special
cabinet was designed for it to match the other kitchen cabinets. The overall shape of the hood dictated the
design of the cabinet and resulted in a nice display shelf for a collection of
antique kitchen utensils.
